New Film Score!
I’m happy to announce that I’ll be scoring John Paul Su’s new film, PAGPAG! It’s a beautiful short that takes place in one of the landfill-slums of the Philippines. I met JP through a mutual friend at Tisch and he’s finishing his master’s at Tisch in Singapore (which is a thing, apparently). Our collaboration has been great so far and I’m looking forward to more in the coming weeks. For the score, I’ll be drawing influences from Filipino folk and popular music, in addition to a few other composers such as Gustavo Santaolalla, Sebastian Escofet, and Teresa Barrozo.
In other news, I’ll be backpacking all week in New Hampshire’s White Mountains with my dad. Back to packing. Happy summer!
